In 2012, a lifelong dream became reality with the opening of Carapace Home Décor Boutique in the picturesque seaside town of Beachport.

Located in Beachport’s original Post Office building, Carapace was created from a love of beautiful things and a desire to offer something special—quality pieces and warm, old-fashioned service. With the support of my enthusiastic and caring team, we’ve built a space that feels welcoming, inspiring, and full of charm.

What began with home décor soon blossomed into something more. Our passion for creating a unique shopping experience led us to expand into women’s fashion and accessories—comfortable, stylish, and affordable pieces that our customers love just as much as we do.

In 2024 we were lucky to move the shop and join both our two existing shops Carapace and Surf N Dirt together into a much bigger & brighter space which we absolutely love.

My team and I are genuinely passionate about Carapace and the community we’re part of. We pour our hearts into what we do, and we’re so proud to welcome locals and visitors alike into our special little store.
